Stem Cells May Help a City Heal
Still bleeding from the dot-com crash, San Francisco stakes future health on institute.

 SAN FRANCISCO — The headquarters of the new California Institute for Regenerative Medicine will employ just 50 people and dole out research dollars that will probably leave the Bay Area.

But to a city recovering from its brutal fall from grace when the dot-com boom went bust, the headquarters, awarded to San Francisco last week, could give it a new identity — one fitting with the high-tech revolution it spawned, but more mature.

"The dot-com era was so 20th century, and this is so 21st century," said Chip Conley, founder and chief executive of Joie de Vivre Hospitality, the largest San Francisco hotelier with 17 boutique-themed hotels and a day spa.

"We were at our apex. But we fell fast and hard as a city on many levels," he said. "The stem cell headquarters … is sort of that moment in time that says, well, the hangover is over."

Whether the city's new status as stem cell central will usher in an era of civic prosperity is debatable: Critics have sued to block the voter-approved stem cell financing, the science itself is young and speculative, and sky-high housing costs could deter many secondary companies from locating here.

But the prospect of revival has nevertheless sparked a conversation about how a new boom could tweak San Francisco's sociopolitical landscape — for better or worse.

San Francisco's craving for a new start spawned a rare spirit of cooperation and generosity among business interests.

Leading the charge was Mayor Gavin Newsom, who put his mind to winning the institute shortly after California voters last fall approved Proposition 71, which authorized $3 billion in borrowing for embryonic stem cell research.

San Franciscans supported the measure so strongly — by 71% compared with 59% statewide — that Newsom decided the city should become the stem cell institute's home. To pull it off, he corralled a new generation of civic-minded entrepreneurs and cobbled together a glitzy package of freebies totaling about $17 million.

A blastocyst is a stage of development of an embryo when it is around five days old and made up of about 100 cells. A blastocyst at the stage at which embryonic stem cells would be extracted is still young enough to be able to divide into two embryos, making identical twins, or in rare cases, merge with another blastocyst, even one of the opposite sex[1], to create a chimera, an individual comprised of populations of cells with two different sets of DNA. From the biological point of view, these points mean the blastocyst is not yet an individual. Blastocysts are an early developmental stage far from possessing a nervous system, and thus biologically speaking do not have feelings.

Embryonic stem cells are cultured cells obtained from the inner mass cells of a blastocyst. Embryonic stem cell research is still in the basic research phase. Research with embryonic stem cells derived from humans is controversial because, in order to start a stem cell 'line' or lineage, it requires the destruction of a blastocyst (an embryo that has not yet grown beyond 150 cells), which some people believe to be human beings.


Eventhough God repeatedly warned us of killing our children, Satan succeeded using many false excuses to make millions kill their children each year. Many medical treatments nowadays involve destroying LIVING embryos (e.g: Abortion, In Vitro fertilization, Therapeutic Cloning) and lately 'Stem cells Research'.

All of these seemingly useful treatments are but trojan horses that Satan uses to distort God's creation and destroy the newborns, those who will grow into his most ardent enemy, the human being.

These processes involve harvesting special cells (stem cells) from the days-old embryos and then discarding the rest of the embryo's cells or selecting one embryo and destroying the rest!.

God gives us the sequence of creating a new human being in Quran:

Some so called 'Submitters' Unfortunately chose to compromise, they say that Abortion is allowed in the first three months, some other 'Submitters' say Abortion is allowed in cases of Rape. Does God order us to commit sins by killing innocent human beings?

[7:28] They commit a gross sin, then say, "We found our parents doing this, and GOD has commanded us to do it." Say, "GOD never advocates sin. Are you saying about GOD what you do not know?"

The truth of the matter is that Satan comes disguised, he is skilfull in the art of deception, he will use many seemingly usefull excuses to open the door infront of transgression, the Submitters however don't compromise, when God says don't kill the children, don't kill any human being unjustly, they fall prostrate and submit to His command.

[17:33] You shall not kill any person - for GOD has made life sacred - except in the course of justice. If one is killed unjustly, then we give his heir authority to enforce justice. Thus, he shall not exceed the limits in avenging the murder, he will be helped.

Has anybody seen the soul entering into the sperm, the embryo, or the fetus? do we have any knowledge of this? then how can we transgress and say that killing the children at any stage of development is allowed?

San Fransisco is the main transgressing city in America today, with its thousands of homosexuals they are always the first to accept Satan's lucrative invitations, they have no limits, and because of their choices the annihilation is coming God willing as prophesized .

 In fact, their idols inflict great pain upon them, and confuse their religion for them.
Had GOD willed, they would not have done it. You shall disregard them and their fabrications.

and prohibited what GOD has provided for them, and followed innovations attributed to GOD.
