| Excerpt from the contact prayer
taught by the messenger Rashad Khalifa: The Major Ablution If water is not available, one must touch clean dry soil, then wipe his hands and face. This suffices as a substitute for ablution (4:43, 5:6). What Nullifies Ablution Digestive excretions through the intestines, including gas, solids, or urine nullify ablution. Sleeping also nullifies ablution, since one becomes unaware. Thus one may observe a number of Contact Prayers with one ablution, provided he or she does not go to the bathroom, pass gas, or fall asleep. |
| 1. The Dawn
Prayer must be observed during two
hours before sunrise (11:114,
24:58). 2. The Noon Prayer is due when the sun declines from its highest point at noon (17:78). 3. The Afternoon Prayer can be observed during the 3-4 hours preceding sunset (2:238). 4. The Sunset Prayer becomes due after sunset (11:114). 5. The Night Prayer can be observed after the twilight disappears from the sky (24:58). * The Friday noon congregational prayer is an obligatory duty upon every Submitting man and woman "(62:9). Failure to observe the Friday Prayer is a gross offense. Each contact prayer is valid if observed anytime during the period it becomes due until the next prayer becomes due. Once missed, a given contact prayer is a missed opportunity that cannot be made up; one can only repent and ask forgiveness. The five prayers consist of 2, 4, 4,3, and 4 units (Rak'ahs), respectively. Rashad Khalifa

| First: Overview of the 5 contact prayers: The number of units of each prayer are specifically designed by God to suit the requirements of our souls during different times of the day, any altering of this exact system renders it void. 1. The Dawn Prayer consists of 2 units. 2. The Noon Prayer consists of 4 units. 3. The Afternoon Prayer consists of 4 units. 4. The Sunset Prayer consists of 3 units. 5. The Night Prayer consists of 4 units. These 17 units a day will be shortly explained in detail along with the awesome proofs discovered. |
| Second: Three forms of units: 1- Unit form # 1 (Opening-unit): consists of this simple sequence of actions and utterances: ( 1-Allahu Akbar/2-AlFaatiha/3-Allahu Akbar/4-Subhaana Rabby AlAzeem/5-Allahu Akbar/6-Allahu Akbar/7-Subhaana Rabby Al A'laa/8-Allahu Akbar/9-Allahu Akbar/10-Subhaana Rabby AlA'laa ) This is the first sequence, and it consists one complete unit, this unit is the openning unit, and also serves as a middle unit (in the 4 unit-prayers), all the above components must be uttered once at a time. 2- Unit form # 2 (Middle-unit): is the same as the above unit, with two added components: ( 1-Allahu Akbar/2-AlFaatiha/3-Allahu Akbar/4-Subhaana Rabby AlAzeem/5-Allahu Akbar/6-Allahu Akbar/7-Subhaana Rabby Al A'laa/8-Allahu Akbar/9-Allahu Akbar/10-Subhaana Rabby AlA'laa/11-Allahu Akbar/12-Ashhadu Anna laa Ellaaha illa Allaah ) This unit is a middle unit, used in 4 of the 5 prayers. 3- Unit form # 3 (Closing-unit): is the same as the above unit, with two added components: ( 1-Allahu Akbar/2-AlFaatiha/3-Allahu Akbar/4-Subhaana Rabby AlAzeem/5-Allahu Akbar/6-Allahu Akbar/7-Subhaana Rabby Al A'laa/8-Allahu Akbar/9-Allahu Akbar/10-Subhaana Rabby AlA'laa/11-Allahu Akbar/12-Ashhadu Anna laa Ellaaha illa Allaah/13-Salaamun alaykum/14-Salaamun Alaykum ) This unit serves as the closing unit for all the 5 prayers. At this stage the above migt seem totally incomprehensible to the newcomer, however the simplicity and power of these words God willing will be clarified in the following. Once you become able to perform the three simple above units, you could easily perform the 5 daily contact prayers, which are so simple that it doesn't take more than 10 minutes each. |
| Third: The components of the above units: -There are 4 main positions in the contact prayer, Standing, Bowing, Prostrating, Sitting with 6 components (utterances) as follows. 1- "Allaahu Akbar" (God is Great) : This proclamation must be uttered 111 times a day (in the 5 daily contact prayers) as per the following verse: [17:111] And proclaim: "Praise be to GOD, who has never begotten a son, nor does He have a partner in His kingship, nor does He need any ally out of weakness," and magnify Him constantly. In this proclamation that begins, separates and closes the contact prayers, we are frequently reminded that to God belongs all power and that anything besides Him is actually nothing, through this continous magnification of God during the prayer, our centers get shifted always back to Him and His straight path. Method (Standing position): ![]() 1-In case of an Opening-unit: In starting any prayer of the 5 contact prayers from the standing position, we raise our hands beside our faces, (to mark the beginning of the Salaat) and say in a moderate tone "Allaahu Akbar" (The As are pronounced here as in "calm"), and then move them down resting naturally to our sides in a defensless, humble standing position in front of our Creator. This upward movement of the hands is as if you are proclaiming to the whole universe aloud that God is the Great. After beginning your prayer as shown above, you move on to the next step, reciting "AlFaatiha, chapter 1, The Key" also in a moderate tone. 2- In case of a middle or closing units: If you are doing a middle or closing units, you don't have to raise your hands, just say "Allahu Akbar" while moving up to the standing position from the prostration or sitting positions. Thus from then on, whenever you move from one position to another (e.g: standing to bowing/ to standing/ to prostrating/ to sitting/ to prostrating again/ to sitting/ to standing again) you utter the same two words while moving from one position to another to mark the beginning of every compnent of the prayer (e.g: reciting chapter1, glorifying God, bearing witness"AlShahaada") the explanation is given below. 2- AlFaatiha (chapter"The Key") : This is the first chapter in Quran, the mathematical composition of it has proved as the messenger Rashad Khalifa said that the specific sounds of it establish contact with God. This is the only chapter you need to memorize from Quran to use in the contact prayer (Standing position). (Unlike other chapters it's composed of direct speech to God, that's why it's designed for the contact prayer) Method (Standing position): 1- After lowering your hands to your sides from saying ("Allahu Akbar" with your hands raised), you are now standing in a defenseless position in utter reverence of God asking Him for help and guidance by the following simple words:
The above chapter is numerically constructed beyond any human's capability, for example the messenger of the covenant reported that when you utter these specific Arabic words, your lips touch 19 times, you may know also that the first verse is composed of 19 letters, further proofs will be introduced shortely, but this emphasizes how critical we must utter these words in Arabic in order to establish contact with God. All the components of the prayer should be uttered in Arabic, the language of the final scripture. There are some remarks on the pronounciation of these words, the red letters indicate vowel inflictions added according to the position of the word in a sentence, the apostrophe before the "A" indicates the letter (Eein) which is difficult to pronounce for non- arabs, however its possible to pronounce it after some practice (also the letter " 'H" and " 'GH"), also some words are welded together in pronounciation which changes some letters, the best is to listen to a recitation and practice repeating it while memorizing the meanings in english or your language. It is recommended that you find an Arabic recitation of "The Key, Chapter1, AlFaatiha in Arabic", you can find it online, and remember that God doesn't burden any soul beyond its means, which means that if you are sincere and doing your best, it doesn't matter how imperfect you pronounce the above words. Here is a literal word by word translation of the key to help you understand the individual words when trying to memorize them. 3- "Subhaana Rabbiya Al'Azeem" (Glory be to my Lord, The Great): The command to glorify the name of God, "The Great" (in the bowing position) is given in the verses [56:74,96],[69:52]: [69:52] Therefore, you shall glorify the name of your Lord, The Great. Method (Bowing position) : - After reciting chapter 1, you bow down from the waist (AlRukoo') (in a right angle position , more or less), and then support yourself by placing your hands over your knees (which are kept straight). As you move down from the standing position to the bowing position, you say "Allahu Akbar" again to mark the beginning of the bowing phase which takes you more closer to God spiritually. Then after settling in the bowing position (which should be natural, not forced) you say once "Subhaana Rabbiya Al'Azeem" (Subhaana means "be glorified", Rabby means "My Lord", Al'Azeem means "The Great". Thus the whole phrase means "Glory be to my Lord, The Great"). [22:77] O you who believe, you shall bow, prostrate, worship your Lord, and work righteousness, that you may succeed. -After that you return to the standing position while saying "Allahu Akbar" in a moderate tone to mark your return to point zero. 4- "Subhaana Rabbiya AlA'alaa" (Glory be to my Lord, The Most High) : The command to glorify the name of God, "The Most High" (while prostrating) is given in the following verse: [87:1] Glorify the name of your Lord, The Most High. Method (Prostrating position) : -After returning to the zero position (the highest point) in the previous step, you stand for a second and then fall prostrate (the lowest) while saying "Allahu Akbar" to mark the start of the prostration phase which is the peak of the contact prayer, the position where you are most close to God. You prostrate on the ground with your face, hands and knees settling naturally on the ground and say (in a moderate tone) "Subhaana Rabbiya AlA'alaa" (Subhaana means "be glorified", Rabby means "My Lord", Al'Azeem means "The Most High") thus the whole phrase means "Glory be to my Lord, The Most High", (note the significance of your position, the lowest in the prayer and proclaiming that God is the Most High), this is the peak of the contact prayer, where you are in total submission and most near to God in body and soul in harmony with the whole universe. [22:18] Do you not realize that to GOD prostrates everyone in the heavens and the earth, and the sun, and the moon, and the stars, and the mountains, and the trees, and the animals, and many people? Many others among the people are committed to doom. Whomever GOD shames, none will honor him. Everything is in accordance with GOD's will. [96:19] You shall not obey him; you shall fall prostrate and draw nearer. -After that you sit up from the prostration position to the sitting position (with your hands on your knees), and as you are moving up you say "Allaahu Akbar" to mark the return to an upright position. You remain in the sitting position for a second then you prostrate again in the same manner and say "Allaahu Akbar" while moving your face to the ground to mark the start of the second prostration, where you say "Subhaana Rabiyya AlA'alaa" again, on doing that you have completed a whole unit. This is the simplest unit, let's call it unit form# 1. **End of Unit form # 1**
5- "AlShahaadah" (Bearing witness) : This is the first and most important pillar of Submission, it's a declaration of your full belief that only God has power, and that nothing and nobody else can harm or benefit you unless He wills. This statement is uttered in the sitting position (sitting up from prostration) in the middlde and closing units. This statement is mathematically composed beyond human ability, any letter added to it distorts this profound composition. (see "the proof of the contact prayer" section to follow).
Method (sitting
position) :
You sit up again from the second prostration to the sitting position shown above while saying "Allaahu Akbar" (God is Great), then you proclaim the most important proclamation once, that there is no god except God " Assh-hadu Anna laa Illaaha Illa Allaah " (I bear witness that there is no god except God). (the letter "A" is pronounced as in "Cat" except the underlined "A" pronounced as in "Calm") -This marks the end of the second form of units, "Unit # 2", which is a middle unit. from there you either return to the standing position again or finish your prayer (depending on the prayer, more details to follow) **End of Unit form # 2** 6- "Salaamun 'Alaykum" (Peace be upon you) : This is the greeting of the submitters decreed by God in His Quran, sharing the same greeting is vital to the Unity of submitters from different languages and races. Submission is a religion of peace, while the satanic religions advocate violence, thus the frequently uttered greeting is just "Peace". (it is said in the plural form since it addresses the person and the angels, jinn companions accompaning him or her) [6:54] When those who believe in our revelations come to you, you shall say, "Salãmun `Alaykum (Peace be upon you). Your Lord has decreed that mercy is His attribute. Thus, anyone among you who commits a transgression out of ignorance, and repents thereafter and reforms, then He is Forgiving, Most Merciful." Method (sitting position) : At the end of each prayer, and after you end with proclaiming the "Shahaadah" above, these two words "Salaamun 'Alaykum" (Salaamun means "Peace", 'Alaykum means "Upon you (Plural)", thus "Peace be upon you") are uttered twice (once while you look to the right and then one more time looking to the left while sitting as in the image above) addressing the guardian angels who protect the believers in accordance with God's will [6:61], thus acknowledging their presence around you. This marks the end of your contact prayer. **End of Unit form # 3**

| Fourth: How to perform the 5 daily contact prayers: before you start there are three points that you should know: 1- All the submitters around the world should face "the focal point" which is God's shrine in Mecca (built by Abraham)during prayer, as a symbol of having one center for their lives, nothing and nobody but God, also it strengthens the unity of the submitters and prevents confusion when praying in groups. [2:125] We have rendered the shrine (the Ka`aba) a focal point for the people, and a safe sanctuary. You may use Abraham's shrine as a prayer house. We commissioned Abraham and Ismail: "You shall purify My house for those who visit, those who live there, and those who bow and prostrate." [2:149] Wherever you go, you shall turn your face (during Salat) towards the Sacred Masjid. This is the truth from your Lord. GOD is never unaware of anything you all do. [2:150] Wherever you go, you shall turn your face (during Salat) towards the Sacred Masjid; wherever you might be, you shall turn your faces (during Salat) towards it. Thus, the people will have no argument against you, except the transgressors among them. Do not fear them, and fear Me instead. I will then perfect My blessings upon you, that you may be guided. 2- Before you start praying you should do the ablution explained in the begining of this page[5:6]. 3- Since Submission is about adjusting the rythem of your life in order to reach balance and control your mind and body, we are always reminded not to transgress either the upper or lower limits of anything, thus God commands us to maintain a balanced, normal tone while praying, not too low (out of fear) and not too high (out of showing off). [17:110] Say, "Call Him GOD, or call Him Most Gracious; whichever name you use, to Him belongs the best names." You shall not utter your Contact Prayers (Salat) too loudly, nor secretly; use a moderate tone. 4- All the following prayers can be performed anytime during the period it becomes due untill the next prayer time (except the dawn prayer). The prayers are designed for their specific times with specific number of units, thus a missed prayer cannot be shifted to another time, only repentance is possible. 5- The prayer must be uttered in Arabic, even though different messengers must have uttered it in different languages, the only confirmed prayer now is the Arabic prayer because the final scripture to all Humanity was delivered in Arabic. Later you will witness how each letter is designed in harmony with the other letters to give you a chance of establishing direct contact with God(part 2). The Arabic words are easy to remember and pronounce but need a little practice, all the submitters shall be united God willing on one form of prayer decreed by God. 1- The Dawn
prayer (Salaat AlFajr)
This is the first contact prayer that we observe during two hours before sunrise. It consists of two units. [11:114] You shall observe the Contact Prayers (Salat) at both ends of the day, and during the night. The righteous works wipe out the evil works. This is a reminder for those who would take heed. The two units are performed as follows: 1- The Opening-unit (form# 1): Perform the sequence of steps from 1 to 4, (Standing Allaahu Akbar > Chapter 1> Bowing Allahu Akbar> Subhaana Rabbiya Al'Azeem> Allahu Akbar> Prostrating Allahu Akbar> Subhaana Rabbiya AlA'alaa> Sitting Allahu Akbar> Prostrating Allahu Akbar> Subhaana Rabbiya AlA'alaa) 2- The Closing-unit (form# 3): Then after saying "Subhaana Rabbiya AlA'alaa" (Glory be to God, The Most High) while prostrating the second time, you stand up again while saying "Allaahu Akbar" (God is Great) to mark the start of the second unit. To perform the second unit, simply follow the sequence of steps in the previous table from 1 to 6 (Allaahu Akbar >Standing Chapter 1> Bowing Allahu Akbar> Subhaana Rabbiya Al'Azeem> Allahu Akbar> Prostrating Allahu Akbar> Subhaana Rabbiya AlA'alaa> Sitting Allahu Akbar> Prostrating Allahu Akbar> Subhaana Rabbiya AlA'alaa) + (Sitting Allahu Akbar> Assh-hadu Anna laa Ellaha Illa Allaah> Right Salaamun 'Alaykum> Left Salaamun Alaykum) Thus you begin your prayer always by saying "Allahu Akbar" while raising your hands in the standing initial position, and end with "Salaamun 'Alaykum" twice in the sitting position while turning your face to the right once, and then to the left. 1- The Noon prayer (Salaat AlZuhr) This
is the second prayer which the submitters perform when the sun declines
from its highest point at noon. It consists of 4 units.
[17:78] You shall observe the Contact Prayer (Salat) when the sun declines from its highest point at noon, as it moves towards sunset. You shall also observe (the recitation of) the Quran at dawn. (Reciting) the Quran at dawn is witnessed. The 4 units are performed as follows: 1- The Opening-unit (form#1): Follow the sequence of steps from 1 to 4: (Standing Allaahu Akbar > Chapter 1> Bowing Allahu Akbar> Subhaana Rabbiya Al'Azeem> Allahu Akbar> Prostrating Allahu Akbar> Subhaana Rabbiya AlA'alaa> Sitting Allahu Akbar> Prostrating Allahu Akbar> Subhaana Rabbiya AlA'alaa) 2- The 1st middle-unit (form# 2): From the second prostration with your face on the ground, stand up while saying "Allaahu Akbar" ,when you settle in the standing position perform the steps from 1 to 5: (Allaahu Akbar >Standing Chapter 1> Bowing Allahu Akbar> Subhaana Rabbiya Al'Azeem> Allahu Akbar> Prostrating Allahu Akbar> Subhaana Rabbiya AlA'alaa> Sitting Allahu Akbar> Prostrating Allahu Akbar> Subhaana Rabbiya AlA'alaa) + (Sitting Allahu Akbar> Assh-hadu Anna laa Ellaha Illa Allaah) 3- The 2nd middle-unit (form# 1): After you say "AlShahaada" while sitting, you stand up again while saying "Allahu Akbar" to mark the start of unit 3, follow the sequence from 1 to 4 again: (Allaahu Akbar >Standing Chapter 1> Bowing Allahu Akbar> Subhaana Rabbiya Al'Azeem> Allahu Akbar> Prostrating Allahu Akbar> Subhaana Rabbiya AlA'alaa> Sitting Allahu Akbar> Prostrating Allahu Akbar> Subhaana Rabbiya AlA'alaa) 4- The Closing-unit (form# 3): After you say "Subhaana Rabbiya AlA'alaa" while prostrating, you stand up again while saying "Allahu Akbar" , when you settle in the standing position, follow the steps from 1 to 6 from the previous table above: (Allaahu Akbar >Standing Chapter 1> Bowing Allahu Akbar> Subhaana Rabbiya Al'Azeem> Allahu Akbar> Prostrating Allahu Akbar> Subhaana Rabbiya AlA'alaa> Sitting Allahu Akbar> Prostrating Allahu Akbar> Subhaana Rabbiya AlA'alaa) + (Sitting Allahu Akbar> Assh-hadu Anna Laa Ellaha Illa Allaah> Right Salaamun 'Alaykum> Left Salaamun Alaykum) The
Afternoon Prayer (Al'Asr)
This is the third prayer in the day of a submitter, and it comes in a time when most of the people are busy pursuing the provisions of their Lord, that's why God stresses on it in His book (Solomon is reported in Quran to have missed it while playing with his horses, which made him get rid of them[38:30-33]), it is observed during the 3-4 hours before sunset. [2:238] You shall consistently observe the Contact Prayers, especially the middle prayer, and devote yourselves totally to GOD. It consists of 4 units, performed in exactly the same manner as the Noon Prayer above. The Sunset Prayer (AlMaghrib)
This is the 4th
prayer, and it is to be observed after the sun sets til the twilight
disappears from the sky.
[11:114] You shall observe the Contact Prayers (Salat) at both ends of the day, and during the night. The righteous works wipe out the evil works. This is a reminder for those who would take heed. It consists of 3 units, as follows: 1- The Opening-unit (form# 1): Perform the sequence of steps from 1 to 4, (Standing Allaahu Akbar > Chapter 1> Bowing Allahu Akbar> Subhaana Rabbiya Al'Azeem> Allahu Akbar> Prostrating Allahu Akbar> Subhaana Rabbiya AlA'alaa> Sitting Allahu Akbar> Prostrating Allahu Akbar> Subhaana Rabbiya AlA'alaa) 2- The middle-unit (form# 2): From the second prostration with your face on the ground, stand up while saying "Allaahu Akbar" ,when you settle in the standing position perform the steps from 1 to 5: (Allahu Akbar> Standing Chapter 1> Bowing Allahu Akbar> Subhaana Rabbiya Al'Azeem> Allahu Akbar> Prostrating Allahu Akbar> Subhaana Rabbiya AlA'alaa> Sitting Allahu Akbar> Prostrating Allahu Akbar> Subhaana Rabbiya AlA'alaa) + (Sitting Allahu Akbar> Assh-hadu Anna laa Ellaha Illa Allaah) 3- The Closing-unit (form# 3): After you say "Subhaana Rabbiya AlA'alaa" while prostrating, you stand up again while saying "Allahu Akbar" , when you settle in the standing position, follow the steps from 1 to 6 from the previous table above: (Allaahu Akbar >Standing Chapter 1> Bowing Allahu Akbar> Subhaana Rabbiya Al'Azeem> Allahu Akbar> Prostrating Allahu Akbar> Subhaana Rabbiya AlA'alaa> Sitting Allahu Akbar> Prostrating Allahu Akbar> Subhaana Rabbiya AlA'alaa) + (Sitting Allahu Akbar> Assh-hadu Anna laa Ellaha Illa Allaah> Right Salaamun 'Alaykum> Left Salaamun Alaykum) The
Night Prayer (Al'Ishaa')
This
is the fifth and last prayer, it is due after the twilight disappears
from the sky. It is referenced in the following verse as well as in
[11:114] above.
[24:58] O you who believe, permission must be requested by your servants and the children who have not attained puberty (before entering your rooms). This is to be done in three instances - before the Dawn Prayer, at noon when you change your clothes to rest, and after the Night Prayer. These are three private times for you. At other times, it is not wrong for you or them to mingle with one another. GOD thus clarifies the revelations for you. GOD is Omniscient, Most Wise. It consists of 4 units, performed in exactly the same manner as the Noon and Afternoon Prayer above. This completes the 5 daily prayers, the main tool that can guarantee by God's leave that we keep the balanced reverent state of a submitter, and prevent us from the extremes of transgression. Group Prayer: All the above prayers can be done in a group, where one leads another or more (by standing in front, and the rest in columns side by side behind him), the leader (Imaam) recites the key, Shahaadah, and Subhaana Rabbiya Al'Azeem, Subhaana Rabiyya AlA'alaa in an audible voice so that the others may reflect on the words with him, the rest of the group utter only the start phrase (Allahu Akbar), the separators(Allahu Akbar), and the ending phrase(Salaamun 'Alaykum) after the Imaam in a moderate tone, and also follow his moves. (This is confirmed mathematically in a simple manner, please see the proof section,part2) |
The Friday Prayer
The Friday Congregational Prayer (Salat Al_Jum`ah) is so important, a whole sura is entitled "Friday" and a commandment is decreed in Verse 62:9 to observe this prayer. Every Submitter - man, woman, and child - is commanded by God to observe the Friday Congregational Prayer.
The Friday Prayer replaces the Noon Prayer every Friday. Instead of 4 units, the Friday Prayer consists of listening to two sermons delivered by the Imam, and two units of prayer.
Each sermon must begin with "Al-Hamdu Lillah" (Praise be to God), "Laa elaaha Ellaa Allah" (No other god besides God). Each sermon should last 10-15 minutes and must be delivered in the language of the congregation. At the end of the first sermon, the congregation is asked to repent, "Tooboo Ela Allah." The Imam then sits down for about a minute and makes his repentance together with the congregation, then stands up for the second sermon. The second sermon ends by asking one of the people to say Azaan. The Imam leads the 2-unit prayer.
To Part 2: Proofs of the Salat word by word
