Salaamun 'alaykum, peace upon you Being half Egyptian and half Japanese, i was often asked "which nationality do you identify with?". It may sound like a simple question, but it's a question that has always perplexed me! What is 'Nationality' ? From the
Meriam Webster Online Dictionary:
Nationality : a people having a common origin, tradition, and language and capable of constituting a nation-state This is the definition dominant today in the world , it may surprise you that it is not the right definition according to God's final testament, Quran. According to Quran, Satan is behind developing these false identities, some people identify with a football team, some with a country, some others with a profession, colour, race, language, wealth, and numerous other categories that could fill volumes! You go to a job interview, the first question you hear is: where do you come from? what's your nationality? where do you live?, you may hear a lot of questions, yet almost nobody asks the only real question: What do you believe in? This is the most important
question, we identify with what we believe in, what we rely on in times
of distress, what or who we put our trust in, some people believe God
is the Christ, thus their identity is : Christian, others are occupied
with a sports team, others with a company...etc
God states in Quran that all the visible differences are a test, Satan uses these differences and adds to them (more artificial categories like Homosexuals, Celebrities, Ruling class/citizens..etc), why does he do that? because Satan's goal is to divide the human beings so that he could rule over them and ultimaetly destroy his most ardent enemy, the human being! Another aspect to the illusion of national identity is that Satan dupes us to believe in stereotypes, thus if you are a doctor, you will behave in a certain manner, and if you are Japanese, you will act like this or that, why again? to divide the one family of human beings and create discrimination and racism. For when we buy a stereotype, it would be easy to generalize and instead of driving wedges between two individuals, in one strike now Satan can mobilize a whole country against another in the name of patriotism, which is nothing but an illusion, for an identity based on race, colour, gender is not the right one to fight for. You may notice in international events like the soccer world cup how people take sides and how this creates animosity and hatred, because their position is void of meaning as it is not based on an absolute value, you may notice that the people act collectively when they support their country's team in a fever that overrides their judgment and impartiality. Quran gave us an example, a prophet of God was temporarily blinded by Satan, Satan duped him into following the extremes, Moses killed a man just because he was from the opposite tribe (country)! Moses Commits Manslaughter [28:15] Once he entered the city unexpectedly, without being recognized by the people. He found two men fighting; one was (a Hebrew) from his people, and the other was (an Egyptian) from his enemies. The one from his people called on him for help against his enemy. Moses punched him, killing him. He said, "This is the work of the devil; he is a real enemy, and a profound misleader." [28:16] He said, "My Lord, I have wronged my soul. Please forgive me," and He forgave him. He is the Forgiver, Most Merciful. [28:17] He said, "My Lord, in return for Your blessings upon me, I will never be a supporter of the guilty ones." For Satan wants us to judge according to our extremes (obsessions, addictions, hates and fears) based on a false perception of reality, Rashad Khalifa taught that 'our god is whatever occupiesour mind most of the time', this could be something or someone or a mix of different idols, e.g: your job + your country..etc. [4:60] Have you noted
those who claim that they believe in what was revealed
to you, and in what was revealed before you, then uphold the unjust
laws of their idols (Extremes)? They were commanded to reject such
laws.
Indeed, it is the devil's wish to lead them far astray. God teaches us that we should judge
according to the unseen absolute values highlighted and elucidated in
Quran, and not to be like the followers of Satan who judge according to
their false extremes (left and right, liberals and fundamentalists),
and the only way to stay on the straight path is to seek help from God
that He may keep us balanced, impartial, and equitable.
Quran, the only source of law, the only reference to help us judge, [6:114] Shall I seek
other than GOD as a source of law, when He has revealed to
you this book fully detailed? Those who received the scripture
recognize that it has been revealed from your Lord, truthfully. You
shall not harbor any doubt.
The
Submitters' nation is an impartial/middle one,
[2:143] We thus made you
an impartial community, that you may serve as
witnesses among the people, and the messenger serves as a witness among
you.....
Summary: First Satan creates a false perception of reality, he convinces you that there is a certain power/meaning in a powerless identity, e.g: race, language, colour, when in reality there is nothing special about any of these visible ties, and if you buy his lies, you will start developing a bond between you and the false identity that naturally evolves into an extreme emotion (obsession, hate or fear) because of the inability of that false identity to satisfy your spiritual needs!, this extreme state is called idol-worship, the only unforgivable sin if mainatined untill death. Belief, the Real Identity The only
criterion God set for distinguishing among the people is belief,
[49:13] O people, we created you from the same male and female, and rendered you distinct peoples and tribes, that you may recognize one another. The best among you in the sight of GOD is the most righteous. GOD is Omniscient, Cognizant. Here God states clearly that the visible differences between the people (race, colour, language) are but a test, those who are righteous will recognize one another (their common belief) regardless of the visible differences, as for Satan, he guides his followers to judge by the appearances, by the visible differences, the blind cannot see the common belief because it's in the hearts, it can only be felt, and God granst the righteous this sixth sense to feel and recognize each other. My message is simply to expose the fake false differences and barriers that Satan has invested centuries to build in order to divide us, my message is to proclaim that the only true criterion to distinguish among us is belief, to declare a united submitters' nation for the righteous to join, regardless of their colour, race or language. God willing all this will be made possible after the event of 119, the time will come when the answer to the question : WHAT IS YOUR NATIONALITY? will be: I AM A SUBMITTER.
