The Free
Human being
The crisis of this world is the mass surrender to Satan, some are enslaved through power and status, some through women and lust, some through money and material posessions..etc.
What is a "free human being" ? he or she is simply a practical manifestation of the most important statment that exist,
" There is no god except God".
His or her judgment is not influenced by any false god, only absolute values and reverence of God determine it.
A human being who has reached certainty that nothing and nobody can harm or benefit him in anyway against God's will.
A human being who can not do anything that violates his covenant with God.
[36:30] Did I not covenant
with you, O Children of Adam, that you shall not worship the devil?
That he is your most ardent enemy?
[7:172] Recall that your Lord summoned all the descendants of Adam,
and had them bear witness for themselves: "Am I not your Lord?"
They all said, "Yes. We bear witness."
Thus, you cannot say on the Day of Resurrection,
"We were not aware of this."
The free human being is the one who can SEE the illusion and the reality for what they are, he cannot be intimidated, and can not be bought.
The free human beings serve as witnesses on the day of judgment, because nobody can notice the transgressions except those who have stepped out of the field of transgression and thus are 100% unbiased.
[2:143] We thus made you an impartial community, that you may serve as witnesses among the people, and the messenger serves as a witness among you......
Are you free? ask yourself what is your center, is it God or something else? if you have developed extreme emotional bonds (love, fear or hate) towards something or someone, know that it is because of assigning an independent power to it.
The only cure to this state is to try to relate the powers to God alone, thus for example you will love because of recognizing righteousness or a righteous meaning (coming from God) in a person or a thing. You will also hate because of recognizing an evil meaning or no-meaning in a thing or a person. You will fear and revere nothing and none but God and only then you will gain your freedom, balance and all your works will start to count again.
[4:175] Those who believe in GOD, and hold fast to Him, He will admit them into mercy from Him, and grace, and will guide them to Him in a straight path.
This is a diagram showing the straight path inbetween a jungle of idols, anything and anyone (any creature) can be idolized if you relate his power (skill, beauty, knowledge, traits..etc) to him, her or it instead of God.
All power belongs to God alone, real enjoyment of this world begins when we start relating all the absolute values and righetous meanings around us in God's creation to Him alone, thus we become appreciative of Him alone.
Only then will the obsessions, addictions, fears and hates disappear and along with them all worries, miseries and depression. God promised those who are appreciative with perfect happiness now and forever.
As for the disbelievers they will inevitably be afflicted with misery, pain and despair because of the dependance on powerless creatures (that are unstable) instead of God.
Note also in the diagram that the contact prayers are extremely important if we want to stay on the straight path, since if it happens and we started relating powers to the creatures instead of God (through extreme fear, love or hate) the next prayer will shift back our center to God.
The test:
[29:2] Do the people think that they will be left to say, "We believe," without being put to the test?

blind wicked people relate all the above powers to the thing or person
instead of God, and thus are prone to get afraid or obsessed with
things and people.
As for the righteous, the seers, they recognize the righteous meanings and then relate them to God and thus become appreciative.
When they encounter an evil meaning (people or things) or no meaning (vain talk, entertainment..etc) they relate it to Satan and therefore ignore and refrain from doing it.
And since God taught us that Satan has no power whatsoever (except the power of adorning the illusion) there is no reason for the righteous to get afraid or depressed because of the wicked people or events, even if the wicked person is a part of the family and even if the disease is Cancer itself, the righteous know that God is in full control of everything and everyone, and that the test is all about our response towards evil and good, will we be appreciative of God's righteous meanings? will we get afraid and depressed in face of oppression and wickedness?
A simple test, yet needs patience, steadfastness and holding fast to God through the contact prayers.
