ABC NewsSHANGHAI,
China Apr 16, 2005 — Chanting "Japanese pigs
get out," protesters threw stones and broke windows at Japan's
consulate and Japanese restaurants in China as some 20,000 people
defied government warnings to protest Tokyo's wartime history and its
bid for a permanent U.N. Security Council seat.
Tensions between Tokyo and Beijing have been fueled by disagreement
over the U.N. Security Council, gas resources in disputed seas and new
Japanese textbooks that critics say minimize Japan's wartime
offenses. |

Scarred by
history: The Rape of Nanjing

Thousands of bodies were buried in ditches
Between
December 1937 and March 1938 one of the worst massacres in modern times
took place. Japanese troops captured the Chinese city of Nanjing and
embarked on a campaign of murder, rape and looting.
Based on estimates made by historians and
charity
organisations in the city at the time, between 250,000 and 300,000
people were killed, many of them women and children.
The number of women raped was said by Westerners
who
were there to be 20,000, and there were widespread accounts of
civilians being hacked to death.
Yet many Japanese officials and historians deny
there was a massacre on such a scale.
They admit that deaths and rapes did occur, but
say they
were on a much smaller scale than reported. And in any case, they
argue, these things happen in times of war.

In depth
analysis of the massacre:
[3:175] It is the devil's system
to instill fear into his subjects.
Do not fear them and fear Me instead, if you are believers.
Steps of Satan:
[2:208] O you who
believe, you shall embrace total submission;
do not follow the steps of Satan,
for he is your most ardent enemy.
During the years of the Sino-Japanese war, Satan dragged the Japanese
soldiers step by step into transgression untill they couldn't find a
difference between a log and a Chinese person!, driven by hatred and
feelings of superiority, they killed, raped and destroyed the city of
Nanjing in one of the most horrible massacres of the 20th century, yet
to this day the Japanese governmet tries to whitewash it.
1-Fear of authroity figures:
Private Kawata Senji (Pseudonym):
"At the time I didn't think it was wrong.
I was ordered to do so. "
(At that time the Japanese people revered their emperor and follwed the
orders, any orders, obediently. To this day people prefer to sell their
responsbility (free choice) to others, they think that somebody else
can carry their sins, however God teaches us that no soul can ever
carry another's sins)
[35:18] No soul can carry the sins of
another soul. If a soul that is loaded
with sins implores another to bear part of its load, no other soul can
carry any part of it, even if they were related. The only people
to
heed your warnings are those who reverence their Lord, even when alone
in their privacy, and observe the Contact Prayers (Salat). Whoever
purifies his soul, does so for his own good. To GOD is the final
destiny.
Nobody on earth can evade his or her responsbility
2-Fear of the enemy--->
Superiority/Dehumanization:
Ironically those who torture, dehumanize and kill their enemies
unjustly are only doing so because of fear! they are afraid of their
enemies, because of their mentality of attributing powers to the
creatures instead of God alone. The Japanese army had had already lost
alot of troops in other parts of China, and many soldiers had grown to
be afraid of the Chinese.
Sergeant
Masuda Rokusuke:
"You made us suffer!"... "You made us sacrifice our
buddies!"... "You made Japanese people cry!" "You, little brat!" We
kicked, whipped, and beat the heads, backs and other parts of the
captives to give vent to our frustration. There were at least 300 of
them....
Investigator
Ono Kenji:
"I think those former soldiers used to have
racial hatred toward
Chinese. Many war veterans I interviewed still unconsciously use the
word, Chankoro [derogatory term in Japanese literally meaning, "Chinese
brat"], or something of that kind.
(When the human being surrenders to an authority figure (instead of
submitting to God alone), when he starts revering a creature, he
automatically switches personalities, and the Jinn-companion/devil
takes over, now this distorts the balance that God has designed (Satan
serving Adam), what follows is that the Jinn-being operates in the
"jealousy-mode" that Satan was the first one to exhibit in Paradise
(Satan said"I am better than Adam").
The Jinn after taking over the
human's body and mind, thinks he is superior to that human and
consequently to every other creature (Satan's ideology is based on
superiority) this was obvious in how the Japanese soldiers treated the
Chinese prisoners, they called them "logs", "brats" thus completely
dehumanizing them and justifying any atrocities they would do.)
3-Fear of human retribution/ of being
found out:
"There wasn't any soldier who didn't rape. After things were
done, usually we killed them. We'd let the women go, they'd run off,
and we'd shoot them from the back. We didn't want to leave any trouble
behind.
If the gendarmes
found out, we would be tried by court-martial. So, although we didn't
really want to kill them, we did it - though, in fact, there was
hardly any gendarme in Nanjing. I served in Nanjing for about two
months."
In the name of war:
"On January 23, 1938, when asked about the furniture in the
Nationalist Government Building by Matsui Iwane, the commander-in-chief
of the Central China Area Army, Nakajima replied, "What is the matter
of taking furniture when we are taking over a country and taking away
people's lives? No one is going to be pleased even though we leave it
there."
"What is the matter of taking furniture when we are taking over a
country and taking away people's lives?"
Anything based on other than righetousness and reverence of God
(reverence of God entails following the absolute unseen values)
naturally results in more evil, war based on agression can only result
in such horrific atrocities, same happens today in Israel and in Iraq,
the incidents
of Abu Graib prison were the natural result of an unjust war.
For when the soldiers know deep inside that the war they are fighting
is not right, Satan uses this as a premise to engage them in more and
more atrocities, same happens with the ordinary person, for example
Satan may whisper to him to go have fun with his friends (just this
time!) next he gets drunk, he goes to a brothel, he committs adultery,
later a deep feeling of guilt overwhelms him, Satan whispers to him
that he is ruined, God will not accept his repentance (to cut the way
between him and God and to throw him into despair), then Satan further
surrounds him with the idea that people will soon find out and his
career will be finished! why not kill her? amazingly enough this
individual may start an endless downward spiral of sinning just because
of one incident that God would have forgiven him for, if he just hadn't
resorted to despair! if he just repented immediately and refrained from
following his peers!. These are the steps of Satan.
Conclusion:
Perhaps the most destructive phenomena noticed in the Japanese society
(to this day) is the collective group-mentality, difference is
discouraged and conformity is encouraged, why? As a survival-strategy
the human being was duped by Satan to believe that if he conforms with
his peers, he will survive!. In Submission however God teaches us that
what grants us redemption and happiness is nothing but righetousness,
what the people think of us doesn't matter as long as we seek the
unseen absolute values that lead to Him.
[29:25] He said, "You worship beside GOD powerless
idols due to peer pressure,
just to preserve some friendship among you in this worldly life. But
then, on the Day of Resurrection, you will disown one another, and
curse one another. Your destiny is Hell, wherein you cannot help one
another."
